Introduction
Capverdy - archipelago of ten islands in the southern part of Northern Atlantic, 350 nm from Senegal and 7 hours of flight from Europe.
Paradise between Tropic of Cancer and Equator.
Emerald green and crystal pure water, dry climate with temperatures going up and down between 24° and 31°C are possible to find in the island. The season last for twelve months and the temperature of water moves between 20° and 25°C. The summer season has got 365 days with exception in November and March when winds around the island are heavier.
The island of Sal offers a unique geographical structure where water reaches the deep of 3000 metres just several miles from the coast. Fishing on the island is integrate part of local culture. Our fishery base is found in the village Santa Maria that is historical fishing center of entire island of Sal.
Capverd islands are also very popular destination for tourists. There is possibility to have an all inclusive family holiday combined with active fishing.
Capverd islands are small fishing paradise because local fishing guides keep some simple rules for fish protection and of this one and only fishing district. Fishing holiday in the tropics does not mean devastation of the population and hunting fishes for nice pictures in the album. Our fishing center believes in protection and preservation of nature. If you catch „billfish“ and it will not be big one, put it back to the ocean please. The fishermen that will do that will be awarded with the certificate. That will be your real trophy. Pension Porta do Vento***
Modern family hotel opened in April 2007 is situated in the heart of summer resort Santa Maria not far from beautiful gold beach on the island of Sal. Standard rooms offer air condition - small refrigerator free when required – telephone, TV, own bathroom and lavatory (shower, hair dryer). Some apartments have balcony – safe at the reception (for fee). We offer accommodation with breakfast B&B or half-board. The price for a person per a week is from 3200,-Kč. Transfer from the airport is included.
Residence Aparthotel Ponta Preta
The building composed from two blocks has 39 apartments. It is situated 500m from the center of Santa Maria. We offer accommodation with breakfast B&B or a half-board. Most of the apartments have their own terrace. The rooms are equipped with air condition, satellite TV, refrigerator, telephone and a safe. The price for a person per a week is from 4800,-Kč. Transfer from the airport is included.
Club Hotel & Resort Crioula****
Club resort straight at the san beach and a few steps to the center of Santa Maria. We offer this resort for ambitious clients. Standard rooms offer air condition, satellite TV, telephone, mini bar (consumption for fees) – own social facility (bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, lavatory) – safe for a fee. All-inclusive board is offered. We can calculate the price for you.
Hotel Djadsal Holiday Club****
Hotel in traditional Moor but modern style is situated in the most beautiful part of the beach, a several minute of walk to the center to Santa Maria. Standard apartment - air condition, satellite TV, small refrigerator, telephone– own social facility (bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, lavatory) - safe – a small balcony or a small terrace – the possibility of rooms for handicapped people. We offer accommodation with breakfast B&B (se snídaní) or full-board. The price for a person per a week is from 7600,-Kč. Transfer from the airport is included.
Fish hunting
Vertical Jigging
Finally after the years of tests, experiments and fascinated experiences we are able to offer vertical fishing in the open ocean. We fish in a deep of 100 - 140m with elongated jigs with the weight of 200 - 400g. There is possibility to use electrical tackles for beginners.
The goal is Amberjack ( up to 80kg) , grouper, wahoo and other fishes living at the bottom. All fishing equipment is available on the boat for free. Fishing center also offer modern equipment for jigging including electric tackles. You can use your own fishing equipment of course.
Trolling
Only a few miles from the coast there is a possibility of fishing in the open ocean. You can fish either local or migrate kinds of fish. Fishing with a false bait behind the boat.
We hunt yellow-fin tuna, dorado, marlin, wahoo and some kinds of Sharp.
All equipment together with fishing lures on the boa tis included in the price. The trolling trips are for a half a day, we start in the morning or in the afternoon.
Big Game
The island of Sal offers the best hot spots for a hunt of the ocean king – Blue atlantic swordfish. Only several miles from the island there is possibility for fishing. The season starts in the middle of April and ends in August depending on the temperature of water and air.
Every year there are hundreds of catches. Marlins are marked and put back to the water. The average weight is about 500lb and the record of fishing center is 816lb!

Deep fishing
Classical fishing with a bait alive at the ocean bottom. A various kinds of fish living at the bottom are hunted.

Boats
Fishing Maria
6m long boat with an engine ofs 35HP. The equipment consists of GPS, sonar, VHF radio, box for life baits, keepers for rods and gaffs. We use them mainly for deep fishing a drifting. Max for 4 people.
Jojo
Trophy 2052 hardtop, 7x2,5m ,Mercury diesel, full equipment, fighting chair, outriggers, keepers for rods and gaffs. 20/30lb stand-up rods and 50/80lb trolling rods. We use for trolling, big game and jigging. Max for 2 people.
Albatroz

Transport
We provide direct flights form Prague to Sal island together with a cooperation of our charter partner. The length of the flight is about seven hours. Return ticket is 13900,- including fees. Departures always on Saturday.
Plane – ticket prices are dependent on free reservation classes in a concrete flight. We recommend booking your flight in earlier time period.

Prices
The prices are only orientation and Theky will be confirmed during reservation of the tour. The prices are mentioned for the lease of the boat.
Each fishing tour is accompanied with experienced skipper with long practices. All equipment on the boat is included in the price. There is also possibility to use your own fishing equipment without reduction of the price.

There is also possibility of „all inclusive“ pack. It includes plane ticket, accommodation in apartment with all inclusive board and 4 rides on the sea.
